Message
By training and practice, I am development and agricultural economist and specialize in evidence-based policy making research following behavioral economics approach and randomized control trials (RCTs). In recent years, I also use long-term panel data being matched with information from administrative data/web-based big data sources and policy interventions to conduct the effectiveness of the interventions. I adopt state of the art `program evaluation techniques` from micro econometrics including quasi-experimental and non-experimental methods and machine learning solution for empirical policy analyses. These days, I mostly follow neo-normal project management to implement field experiments and digital survey solutions to conduct household surveys in developing countries. My research projects got funding from ADB, ADBI, JSPS, 3ie, IGC, Gates Foundation, DFAT, etc. In recent years I published in The World Bank Economic Review, Journal of Development Economics, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Technology in Society, Asian Journal of Innovation and Policy, Journal of Bangladesh Studies, etc. Due to professional reason, I am linked with a number of professional societies and have been nominated as one of the Executive Committee Members for Asian Society for Agricultural Economists since 2017.
