Message
I'm involved in the National BioResource Project (NBRP) of "Tomato," which aims to facilitate global studies of tomato and fruit biology by developing and distributing genetic resources to not only local Japanese but also overseas researchers. "TOMATOMA" (http://tomatoma.nbrp.jp/) provides seeds, with phenotypic, genetic and/or metabolic data, of tomato mutant lines in cv. Micro-Tom, a small and rapidly growing model cultivar, other tomato cultivars, wild relatives, introgression lines and tagging lines. Results of the previous project focused on high-resolution spatiotemporal transcriptome in tomato fruit (Shinozaki et al., 2018 Nature Communications) have been integrated into "Tomato Expression Atlas" (http://tea.solgenomics.net).
