Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, and Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan. Murod's current teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary and include both substantive and methodological areas, organized into four clusters: (1) Media and Technology for Learning; (2) Psychology of Learner Engagement, (3) Sustainability Education, and (4) Role of Education in post-Soviet Transformations. In 2021-2022 his research was published in Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Sustainability, Frontiers in Psychology, Cogent Education, E-Learning and Digital Media, F1000Research, Educational Psychology (forthcoming), Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development (forthcoming), The Proceedings of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and other high-impact peer-reviewed periodicals.
