Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Tsukuba and a Visiting Professor of Policy Studies at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary and include (1) educational psychology and technology; (2) human-centered education; (3) multilingual arts and science education (EMI, CLIL); (4) transformative education in Central-Asia-Mongolia-Caucasus (CAMCA) region and the Asia-Pacific. Murod Ismailov and his collaborators' latest research appeared in numerous high-impact journals, including Computers & Education, Interactive Learning Environments, International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education, Educational Psychology, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, E-Learning and Digital Media, Frontiers in Psychology, International Higher Education, The Proceedings of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and other peer-reviewed periodicals. He is a co-author of 'Social Capital Construction in Central Asia' (Palgrave MacMillan, NY, 2017). He concurrently serves as the President of the CAMCA Academic Consortium and CAMCA Academy, an interregional non-governmental initiative that supports inclusive and innovative educational initiatives in ten countries in Greater Central Asia and the Caucasus region (aka 'CAMCA region', visit: www.camca.academy). He previously served as Dean of the School of International Relations, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.
