Message
中東地域における難民事象を事例に、難民の生存基盤や彼らを下支えするイスラーム的な組織の活動に着目し、ヨルダンを主なフィールドとして調査してきました。また、難民の多くが都市部に居住していることから、都市という空間を生態環境、政治・経済の両側面から捉え、君主制国家であるヨルダンの体制維持のメカニズムと合わせて考察を試みています。今後は、トランスナショナルに活動を展開するイスラーム的な組織や、これらの連携についても検討を深めていきたいと考えています。日本においても、滞日ムスリムのトランスナショナル活動を対象に、その越境性の検討や、日本社会における彼らの多文化共生の模索を追っています。
