Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Transformative Education at the University of Tsukuba (Japan), and a Visiting Professor of Policy Studies at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Japan). He is the President of the CAMCA Academic Consortium and CAMCA Academy (www.camca.academy) - an inter-regional non-governmental organization that promotes inclusive, sustainable, and innovative education in ten countries across Greater Central Asia, Mongolia, and the Caucasus region (also known as the CAMCA region). Murod Ismailov's current teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary, including (1) educational psychology (motivation); (2) educational technology, (3) sustainability and climate change education; (4) English medium instruction (EMI); and (5) Transformative education and curriculum reform in CAMCA region and the Asia-Pacific. His research appeared in many international journals, including Interactive Learning Environments, Educational Psychology, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, E-Learning and Digital Media, Sustainability, Frontiers in Psychology, International Higher Education, The Proceedings of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and other peer-reviewed periodicals. He is a co-author of 'Social Capital Construction in Central Asia' (Palgrave MacMillan, NY, 2017).
